Sen. Ted Cruz ripped into the “squad” otherwise known as the thorn in Pelosi’s side. Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley, and Rashida Tlaib are the squad and Ted Cruz is not happy with their radical positions.
Ted said he would not have sent those particular tweets but said the squad is “radical and extreme” and have a troubled history of anti-Semitic comments.
In other words, “He that is without sin among you, let him cast the first stone at her.”
From Newsmax: “They are embracing full-on socialism,” the Texas Republican told Fox News’ “Fox and Friends.”
“They are offering the so-called Green New Deal which would cost $93 trillion to the economy…they have a long and troubling history with anti-Semitism, engaging over and over again, not just one, but multiple times making anti-Semitic insults.”
He pointed out that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other House Democrats tried to censure the four freshmen for their comments, but the caucus couldn’t get the votes to pass it.
“I was proud the Senate did it better,” said Cruz. “I authored a direct resolution condemning anti-Semitism…we passed it unanimously in the U.S. Senate, every single Republican, every single Democrat.”
And now, the House should take up the same resolution and pass it, but the conference is afraid of the four freshmen congresswomen and the “radical activists” behind them.
“Basically, the committee chairs, the Speaker has handed her gavel over to the freshmen and every one of them are terrified these freshmen will criticize them,” he said.
