The news went from bad to worse for CNN. Late last night a shocking video of a star network anchor threatening to throw a man down the stairs went viral across the nation.
It was a shameful display and now we have more bad behavior from a CNN star – this time from Don Lemon.
These are some pretty wild claims this man, Dustin Hice, is alleging Don Lemon did in this lawsuit.
He does not, to say the least, paint a flattering portrait of Don Lemon. The courts will have the final say.
In the lawsuit suit claims the alleged attack left Hice with “feelings of shame, humiliation, anxiety, anger, and guilt,”
“The plaintiff in this lawsuit has previously displayed a pattern of contempt for CNN on his social media accounts,” a CNN spokesperson told Mediaite in a statement. “This claim follows his unsuccessful threats and demands for an exorbitant amount of money from Don Lemon. Don categorically denies these claims and this matter does not merit any further comment at this time.”
Dustin Hice, the man accusing Lemon of assault, claimed that the CNN host attacked him at Sag Harbor dive bar Murf’s in July 2018. Hice, who was working at the time at another Hamptons bar, alleged that one night at Murf’s he recognized Lemon there. Hice offered to buy him a drink, which the CNN host declined.
Later in the night, according to Hice, Lemon approached him and his group of friends and, after putting his hand down his shorts he “vigorously rubbed his genitalia” and “shoved his index and middle fingers into [Hice’s] moustache.”
Per the claim:
“Mr. Lemon intensely pushed his fingers against Plaintiff’s face under Plaintiff’s nose, forcing Plaintiff’s head to thrust backward as Defendant repeatedly asked Plaintiff “Do you like pussy or dick?”. While saying this, Mr. Lemon continued to shove his fingers into Plaintiff’s face with aggression and hostility.”
Hice said he left the bar “shocked and humiliated.”
