Ilhan Omar is under fire again and the homewrecker has no one to blame but herself. Omar took the extraordinary step of denying she was the “other woman” but her excuse was weak and fell flat.
She then clammed and said she did not want to talk about her personal life, What we do know is that she was fined $500 by the Minnesota campaign finance and public disclosure board in June. She was also ordered to repay $3,500 to her campaign because she used campaign money for personal use.
Not coincidently she dipped into her campaign fund for travel money. Which is exactly what a new complaint filed with the FEC alleges she is doing right now with her new lover.
Omar wrecked two marriages – her own and her lovers to carry on her affair. Then word came that she paid Tim Mynett and his company over $250,000.
Now we find out that she paid her lover $21,547 for travel shortly after he broke the news to his wife that he was leaving her.
His wife, Dr. Beth Mynett says the travel was not work-related. So if this official FEC complaint is correct, Omar did it again and she will certainly face more serious consequences this time.
Look, this could easily bring her down – messing around with a few grand in a statehouse gets a slap on the wrist, mess around with $20,000 plus thousand and wreck a home you could have your career ended.
From The Daily Caller:
The timing of the Omar campaign’s travel reimbursements to E. Street Group coinciding with the start of Omar’s alleged affair with Tim Mynett is suspect, according to an FEC complaint filed Wednesday by the conservative National Legal and Policy Center (NLPC).
“If Ilhan for Congress reimbursed Mynett’s LLC for travel so that Rep. Omar would have the benefit of Mynett’s romantic companionship, the expenditures must be considered personal in nature,” NLPC said in its complaint.
The NLPC noted that FEC regulations prohibit the use of campaign funds for personal travel unless the candidate’s personal funds are used to reimburse their campaign.
“Rep. Omar’s filings do not reveal subsequent reimbursements for Mynett’s travel,” the NLPC stated.
Omar and Tim Mynett have been pictured together at multiple events in recent months. Most notably, the pair were pictured sitting together at a fundraiser for CAIR in late March where the congresswoman described the 9/11 terrorist attacks as “some people did something.”
