The New York Times just hit a brand new low and that is saying something for that newspaper.
The Times led the charge to war with Iraq with a bogus story and it looks like their new hit piece on Brett Kavanaugh was more of the same.
How badly did the New York Times screw up? They just issued a correction to their story that caused chaos yesterday.
But it gets worse. It seems they had the correct version the whole time – their new hit piece was taken from a new book about the Kavanaugh confirmation and in that new book was evidence that cleared Brett.
But they didn’t run it in their hit piece and are only now making the correction because they have been called out. Sad.
“An earlier version of this article, which was adapted from a forthcoming book, did not include one element of the book’s account regarding an assertion by a Yale classmate that friends of Brett Kavanaugh pushed his penis into the hand of a female student at a drunken dorm party,” The Times wrote in a correction.
“The book reports that the female student declined to be interviewed and friends say that she does not recall the incident. That information has been added to the article.”

Would love to see my fellow liberals who routinely threaten to unsubscribe to the NYT make the same threat now. This is an outrageous omission. pic.twitter.com/Y8YazZcI8Z
