Ivanka Trump Mocks Dems: “Unprecedented That Support for Impeachment Decreased More Public Knew”

Ivanka Trump mocked the Democrat’s impeachment debacle in an interview set to air later this month on CBS.

President Trump is looking forward to his day in a fair court where he will be vindicated by the Senate.

Nancy Pelosi is delaying the inevitable and is holding the articles of impeachment from the Senate in a doomed effort to gain leverage.

She has none and what’s more, Trump wants a public trial. Why would Trump want this?

The simple fact that Ivanka drove home in the interview, is that for the first time in our history, impeachment has lost support among the voters the more information people had.

In the last two impeachments the more the public knew the more they wanted Nixon and Clinton impeached.

With Trump the more the public knows the less they want him impeached and the more trouble the Dems will have in 2020.

In short, the Dems overplayed their hand and Ivanka, not one to gloat, took a well-deserved victory lap.

“He said it didn’t even feel like he was being impeached,” Ivanka Trump said of her father.

“It is pretty unprecedented that support for impeachment has decreased over time as more information was presented to the American people,” she said correctly.

“It’s decreased, not increased. So with all of this time spent, with all of these witnesses who didn’t have firsthand knowledge, with all of these people that have been paraded in front of the American people, support for this action has decreased.”

“So, you know, I think he sees it for what it is, which is really just raw partisan politics.”

“As are 63 million-plus voters who elected him to office. This is historic, as you note. And in many ways, including the fact that it is the first purely partisan impeachment.”

“In fact, the only thing bipartisan was the vote against proceeding forward,” said Trump of her energized father and his energized base.
