Mike Bloomberg is taking off the kid gloves and is going after Bernie Sanders in a last-ditch effort to avoid catastrophe.
Bernie Can’t win for one reason – the man has more skeletons in his closet than Hillary Clinton.
Hillary, like the Dems today, was afraid to bring up Bernie’s past for fear of splitting the Dem Party and angering his supporters.
But Trump will not do that, he will expose every dumb and scandalous Bernie position and he will sink Bernie if he gets the nomination.
Tim O’Brien, senior adviser to the Bloomberg campaign, announced the team would be dropping its policy of not lobbing criticism at fellow Democratic candidates ahead of the South Carolina primary. During an interview on CNN, O’Brien questioned Sanders’s record.
“It’s a primary now. People are holding each other accountable. For the most part, we haven’t gone after other Democrats,” O’Brien said. “I think Bernie’s campaign has run itself in a very thuggish way. There are very Trumpy-like aspects to the way that Bernie has been running things.”
O’Brien also condemned some of Sanders’s academic writings from the 1970s, in which he covered topics such as rape and sexuality. In one 1972 article, Sanders wrote that women “fantasize” about being raped. O’Brien argued that Sanders needed to address his “loopy” views, saying, “Bernie has a very trippy record.”
“Bernie has all of this loopy stuff in his background, saying things like women get cancer from having too many orgasms or toddlers should run around naked and touch each other’s genitals to insulate themselves from porn. Why has this stuff not been more surfaced?” O’Brien asked. “He has written about women’s rape fantasies, that hasn’t been surfaced. That’s the loony side of Bernie.”
O’Brien continued: “The policy side of Bernie is he has not been good on immigration. He has not been good on criminal justice reform. He was an avid backer of the ‘94 crime bill. He is bad on guns, bad on immigration. And as a legislator, as a member of the Senate, I think he’s only sponsored seven pieces of legislation, two for post offices in Vermont.”
The 1972 article ” Man — and Woman,” published in the Vermont Freeman, displays Sanders’ views on gender and sexuality at the time of its publishing.
“A man goes home and masturbates his typical fantasy,” wrote Sanders. “A woman on her knees, a woman tied up, a woman abused.”
When in comes to female fantasies, Bernie also knows all.
“A woman enjoys intercourse with her man — as she fantasizes being raped by three men simultaneously,” the essay reads.
