Joe Biden is back from political oblivion and Bernie Sanders seems destined for history’s dustbin so Biden is now taking aim at President Trump.
Biden ripped Trump for his handling of the coronavirus today.
I think there’s no confidence in the president and anything he says or does,” Biden told MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell.
“He turns everything into what he thinks is a political benefit for himself and he’s actually imploding in the process.”
“But there’s a lot of innocent bystanders that are being badly hurt,” Biden said. “I wish he would just be quiet. I really mean it.”
That’s an awful thing to say about a president, but be quiet, just let the experts speak and acknowledge whatever they suggest to him is what we should be doing,”
“Just let the experts speak. And acknowledge whatever they suggest to him is what we should be doing,” Biden added.
Biden also seemed to blame Trump for the market crash saying he was not telling the truth and that was hurting the market;
O’Donnell asked him if the market was “realizing the president simply does not tell them … the truth about this situation…”
“I believe that’s the case. Now it doesn’t mean the market wouldn’t still go down. But it wouldn’t collapse, I don’t think,”
“Now, who can say? But I think there’s no confidence in the president in anything he says or does,” Biden said.
“He turns everything into what he thinks is a political benefit for himself, and he’s actually imploding in the process. But here’s a lot of innocent bystanders being badly hurt.”
