The NBA just suspended the season after a player on the Utah Jazz tested positive for the coronavirus.
The test results came in right before tip-off and the team’s medical staff ran onto the court and literally stopped the game seconds before the start.
“The test result was reported shortly prior to the tip-off of tonight’s game between the Jazz and Oklahoma City Thunder and Chesapeake Energy Arena.”
“At that time, tonight’s game was canceled. The affected player was not in the arena,” the league stated.
