Trump Names Congressman Mark Meadows As New Chief of Staff Replacing Mick Mulvaney

President Trump just announced a west wing shakeup – he just named Mark Meadows as his new chief-of-staff.

Meadows will replace Mick Mulvaney who has been on the job since General John Kelly was Trump’s gatekeeper.

“I am pleased to announce that Congressman Mark Meadows will become White House Chief of Staff,” Trump said announcing the move.

“I have long known and worked with Mark, and the relationship is a very good one,” President Trump added.

“I want to thank Acting Chief Mick Mulvaney for having served the Administration so well.”

“He will become the United States Special Envoy for Northern Ireland. Thank you!” Trump added on Twitter.

This move was long rumored as Mick Mulvaney’s was waiting until the impeachment charade was over to move on.

Mark Meadows is a good choice and has a great relationship with Trump.
