Trump’s Chief of Staff Mark Meadows Enters Self-Quarantine After Having Contact With Infected CPAC Attendee

President Donald Trump’s new chief of staff Mark Meadows just announced late yesterday that Monday he will be self-quarantining over fear he may have been infected with the coronavirus.

He met with the unnamed individual who attended the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) while not knowing he was infected with the coronavirus.

Meadows took a  precautionary test and it came back negative – we heard yesterday that Trump has not taken a test and we don’t know about the others in self-quarantine – Ted Cruz, Paul Gosar and Matt Gaetz.

So it is good news that meadows is negative but this is just starting. Based on what happened in China and Italy – exponential growth with a doubling of cases every week – this is going to get bad before it gets better.

The key will be to not overwhelm our hospitals and health care system so slowing the spread of the virus is critical. We will not stop it, but if we can slow it our healthcare system will have the capacity to d=save many lives.

Meadows’ chief of staff Ben Williamson said:

“Confirming: Mark Meadows was advised this weekend that now 12 days prior at CPAC, he may have come in contact with the COVID-19 positive test individual.”

“A precautionary test came back negative & he feels great. He’ll be self-quarantined till the 14 day period passes Wednesday.”
